How to care for you Madame Alexander Dolls -

Storing your dolls
It is always best to stand your doll upright on a stand whenever possible. You do not want to allow the doll to lay down for long periods of time as this can affect the blinking ability in the eyes. Always avoid storing your doll in a damp area or direct sunlight/heat.

Cleaning your dolls -
Madame Alexander recommends that you use ivory soap and a soft cloth rag to wash/clean the vinyl body parts and hard plastic areas. When cleaning the cloth body use the ivory soap with a toothbrush to brush away the dirt.

Caring for the Clothing -
Never wash your Madame Alexander Dolls Clothes in a washing machine. Always wash the doll clothes by hand with Woolite and warm water and a bit of ERA. You should never scrub the clothes, instead you should squeeze and knead the dirt from the item. Rinse the item in warm water. Squeeze excess water out, do not wring. Dry the outfit on a hanger with safety pins to scure it to the hanger at the should seams. You may use a warm iron to press the clothes if needed. Always keep the hair and clothes dust free by using a damp cloth. NEVER submerge the dolls in water. Should the doll get marked up, immediately use an ivory soap, Era or Woolite solution to wash the mark off.
